Lately, I’ve moved my abs workout to every day but I’m still not feeling that “good soreness.” I know it’s not because I’m that awesome but rather that the DVD is not nearly challenging enough for me. So I’m ready to amp up the workout. This is the plan:
- Modify the exercises to incorporate a swiss ball (for less stability than the floor.)
- Add weight for some core moves (only to moves that it will be safe to do so on.)
- More reps, less recovery time (ie: add crunches while the lady talks between moves and such.)
I might decide to just nix this DVD and find something else but I’ll try these modifications for two or three days and see how the core feels.
